Cycling home up the hill after a night at The GlassHouse is always a struggle. Despite our best endeavours we always seem to lose ourselves after a few glasses of wine turn into a few more and even the dreaded Jaegermeister

Thank you so much for last night’s special Wine Appreciation society evening on Shiraz. It was great. Everyone had a lovely time and were very impressed with your knowledge. The magistrates have asked me to pass on their thanks.

The GlassHouse came highly recommended by a friend. The pub has clearly moved on from some previous comments I had seen and I can thoroughly recommend that people give it a fresh look. The staff were very welcoming and went to a lot of trouble to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing and the food especially the lemony goose rillet was lovely. The manager from Normandy was knowledgeable and passionate about food and service - I am going back!

Just a note to say what a brilliant evening we all had last night at your Bastille day event. Claude, Benoit, suzie and the whole team were an absolute hoot and the hospitality was superb.

Thank you for another wonderful Opera Dinner - tonight’s was the best so far. The opera singers and musicians were of the highest standards and the selection of music was just right for a lovely summer’s evening. Our table thoroughly enjoyed themselves and will be back next time.
